Hello friends,
Welcome to this week's update! I've been spending a lot of time in the creative trenches lately, weaving together new sounds and deep-dive storytelling, and I am incredibly excited to share what’s been happening across my different projects.
Behind the Music: "We Could Be We" 💖
First up, I recently put out a brand-new original track and music video called "We Could Be We." Putting a new song out into the world always brings a mix of excitement and vulnerability. With this track, I wanted to capture the "intense anxiety" of stepping into love, paired with the overwhelming joy of what a future together could look like. Driven by a raw, acoustic melody, the music video takes you through a beautiful, visual journey of a timeless romance.
"If you haven't seen it yet, grab a cup of coffee, give it a watch, and let me know what you think of the lyrics!"
Stepping Into the Dark: The After Society Dies Series 💀
For those of you who dive into my darker fiction writing under my pen name, Raja Emery Tombs, the post-apocalyptic world of the After Society Dies series is continuing to expand. If you haven't started the journey yet, Reapers Of The Dead and After Society Dies: The Episodes are waiting for you to dive in. It’s a gritty, atmospheric ride through a world pushed to its absolute limits.
A Sneak Peek: Twelve Shadows 🌌
I also have some exciting news for fans of the series. I am currently deep in the world-building and character development phase for a brand-new project titled Twelve Shadows. For the first time, I can share that Twelve Shadows is officially a prequel to the After Society Dies universe! Writing this has been an incredible experience because it allows me to explore the rich history, the early fractures in the world, and exactly how things came to be before the main series kicks off. I’m putting a lot of care into shaping these characters, and I can't wait to give you a front-row seat as the mystery unfolds.
Thank you all for being a part of this creative journey with me—whether you're here for the poetry, the music, the devotions, or the thrill of a dystopian wasteland, your support means the world.
